This past spring and summer we have had the pleasure of hosting multiple sports workshops. One aspect of athletic training and even rehabilitation that I strongly feel gets overlooked, is the mental side. Think real fast about much of athletics is mental. Now, think about your training, how much time do you spend improving your mental fitness? I had the pleasure of sitting down with a good friend and colleague Dr. Chelsi Day, who is Sports Psychologist to discuss the topic of mental performance as it pertains to athletics. You can see Dr. Day at the Columbus Marathon this year. She was pivotal in bringing mental health performance training to the Columbus Marathon, and thus has become a very sought after physician
The mental side of sports is something that we identify but rarely focus on. Check out our recent video on the topic of mental performance.
Dr. Day is available for one-on-one consultations, please contact our office and we will get you connected.
