Continuing education is a pivotal aspect of Central Ohio Spine and Joint’s mission and at the core of Dr. Daniel Leonard’s values. We are committed you continuing you the most up to date treatment strategies and education available. This past weekend Dr. Leonard had the opportunity to travel to Chicago to attend the 2015 MPI Sports Summit.
The Sports Summit bought together physicians from all over the United States in order to learn more about the new trends in managing athletes and their injuries. It features some of the most premier speakers in the areas of manipulation, injury prevention screening, performance enhancement, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), and concussion management.
There was one theme of the weekend that kept appearing in each speaker’s presentation and it is the necessity to reassess throughout the treatment process. Anyone can blindly throw darts at a dartboard and hope one sticks, but accuracy takes focus. Here at Central Ohio Spine and Joint, we are constantly reassessing our patients in order to determine the effectiveness of care and even modify throughout the treatment process.
We will continue to strive to provide the most effective treatment possible to our patients. The learning process never stops…
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
