Doug Maxeiner, DC

Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Maxeiner brings more than two decades of clinical experience to Central Ohio Spine and Joint. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2000 after earning his undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. His engineering background fuels his passion for systems-based medicine and provides a unique perspective on how patients transition seamlessly from the clinic to the gym.

He has a strong passion for soft tissue treatment as part of a comprehensive approach to care. He has completed advanced post-graduate training in the focused soft tissue techniques, rehabilitation of common musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as in specialized areas including running and endurance athletes, dance, and racket sports.

Dr. Maxeiner draws on years of experience in both clinical care and strength training to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance. He has worked extensively with athletes and active individuals, helping them not only recover from injury but also return stronger and more resilient. His background allows him to integrate advanced rehab strategies with performance-based training, giving patients the tools to thrive both in the clinic and in the gym.
